Dear Nancy, I am so sorry that I never asked you about that sad, far away look in your eyes. You called me every day of summer school to be sure that I didn't over sleep, and then you would call me 5 minutes later to be sure I was actually out of bed. We rode to summer school and back together every day. Yet you never told me! I am so sorry that you couldn't share with me. I would have cried with you. To this day I don't really know what was wrong with you, I only know that eventually it killed you--and you knew it was going to all along, but you didn't want to burden anyone with your problems. You are remembered and you are missed.
