Timothy William Murphy

Timothy William Murphy, 57, of Blacklick, Ohio, passed away on June 15, 2018 after a hard fought battle of illness. Born in Sioux City, Iowa to Thomas and Janet Murphy, Tim attended Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and served as an altar boy and enjoyed Boy Scouts. Tim was also a proud Navy veteran and electronics technician until he retired and became a stay -at- home dad. He is survived by his loving wife, Kristie; daughter, Kristen Skellwies and fiance' Christopher Caponi Jr. of Milwaukee,WI; son, Mason William Murphy; step mother, Lorraine Murphy of Abbeville, AL ; brothers, Michael Eugene Murphy of Englewood, CO, Robert Daniel Murphy of Mt. Arlington (Peg) of New Jersey; sisters, Kathleen Murphy of Tahlequah, OK, Patricia (Bill) Myers of Tahlequah, OK; nephews, Dr. Jack Myers of Hulbert, OK, Jared Murphy of Eagle, CO, Jacob Adkison of Glenwwod Springs, OK; nieces, Kelly Myers of Tahlequah, OK and Morgan Murphy of Denver, CO. Preceded in death by his parents and sister, Carolan Shawn Murphy. A mass will be held on Friday June 22, 2018 at 11:00 am at St. Matthew The Apostle Catholic Church 807 Havens Corners Rd. Gahanna, Oh 43230with a visitation to be held at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements are entrusted to HEART AND HOPE FUNERAL HOME by SCHOEDINGER.

 He was a happy guy and funny to. I had the honor of meeting him at Blessed Sacrament. We hung out at Hubbard park as kids. Just a peach of a guy. He was a great great friend and I miss him.

I remember jumping off the Combination Bridge with him, Ronnie Morse and Neil Slater. Good times! RIP Tim!
